At least he will live again at the Disneyland Resort in California. Plans have been announced to restore the “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” display in the Main Street Opera House late in 2009 according to the LATimesBlog.

It’s all being done to honor the 200th anniversary celebration of Mr Lincoln. I for one will be glad to see his return to The Disneyland Resort. I remember well the first time I saw “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” the audience was completly quiet as the audio-animatronic performed, it was as if you were in the presence of old Abe himself. The expierence was emotional and educational, I can’t wait to share Disneylands “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” with my daughter. The display was created for the 1964 New York Worlds Fair, and arrived at the Disneyland Resort a few years later.
