I had told E.O. some time ago, “with each trip to the Parks you have the potential to discover something new, something you have never seen before”. It may be something subtle or something grand, but it will be a new discovery. Our Disneyland Obsession reporter E.O., returned from a recent trip to the Parks and declared ” we found bugs in the parks”. The family was happily making its way around the Parks, when they saw Chip and Dale, they made their way over to capture a photo with the characters and an autograph, when they noticed a couple of people strolling down a winding path. This path continued till they were out of site. Confused they ask a cast member if there was something down there, “something they should see”. The cast member “replied there’s Bugs down there, and you should check it out” So they took his advise and made their way to the show It’s Tough To Be A Bug from the Disney Movie A Bug’s Life.
I chuckled a little that they had never discovered that in all of their trips to Disneyland, but the entrance to the show is simple and blends in with the surroundings, and would be easy to just miss as you take all of the images that greet you entering Bugs Land. They said they had a great time experiencing life as a bug, and enjoyed the way the theater came to life, with sights sounds and even smells. But their little one didn’t like it to much when the spiders dropped down from the ceiling.
So once again I will say to everyone that goes to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure Park,
SLOW DOWN
You will be amazed at what you see and discover, Disney puts a lot of work into the areas between the attractions that enhance your entire experience.
See Ya In The Parks!
A report from E.O. in the Park about her recent trip to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure Park. E.O. and family, took a 5 day trip to the Parks, that began Fathers Day June 20, 2010. This trip was their third trip this year, and like all the others was also magical. Magical because World of Color was finally ready to view, and they had dinner reservations at Ariels Grotto, that would provide them with a spot in the preferred viewing area, for this night time attraction.E.O. said that after their dinner, they were paraded past all the people who were still waiting to enter the area, past all the people who had waited in line for a long time to gain access to the viewing area, and taken to an area set aside for park guest with dinner reservations, that was center stage for World of Color. It made them feel like a Disney V.I.P. See for yourself, below is a picture from that preferred viewing area.
So all of us here at Disneyland Obsession, recommend that you make use of that Disney dinner reservation, and claim your spot in the middle of World of Color. The restaurants that are offering this package are Wine Country Trattoria priced from $10—$20 per person, and $30 or more per person at Ariel’s Grotto.
See Ya in the Parks!
