One of my online friends from Twitter, posted an open question to all of his followers. It Read as follows.

Randy Crane@Belgarion42 Randy Crane

A question (if this applies): What about Disney makes you addicted? Why has it become a passion for you?…

My response to Randy, was really simple, much of Disneyland remains so very constant, always there.

Like an old pair of slippers that you slip on and you know your home, with everything that’s familiar all around you. All the stories, all the characters you love, and with nothing out of place.

And in a world where so much is in turmoil, it’s nice to have someplace to go that’s comfortable, a place to just forget about the worlds troubles, to once again be that child that never has to worry.

I know right now with all of the construction going on around the Parks, it might feel a little messy, Buy it’s still my Disneyland, waiting for me to return, and just the way I left it.

Now here’s the same question for you. What is it that makes you have a Disneyland Obsession? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

See Ya In The Parks!

Here is a couple of new photos taken over the fence on our recent trip to the Parks during the Halloween season Oct 20-23 2011. As befor there is still lot going on now. So much that it’s hard to see all that is happening.

But here you can see that the detail work on the canyon walls continues, and the scaffolds continue to come down, showing off more of the incredible work that has been done.

The building are starting to come together, with some showing architectual details.

There is work going on at every turn. I can’t wait.

These two photos below are thanks to my nephew Bill, who is at the parks this week, and is also tall. Bill is able to stand at the fence and raise up his long arms and capture a different look over at Cars Land.

I had asked him to catch a couple of shots as he walked along the fences at Disney California Adventure Park. So far just these two shots, lets hope the will be more. As I get new images I will post them up here.

We’ll also hope to get a look at the Carthay Circle Theater construction.

The sign on the door says cast members only.

These photos come from Disney and show the tremendous progress being made, all around the Carsland area, over in Disney California Adventure Park. With trees being planted, and landscape being completed, you begin to see just how great an effort and imagination has been put into this project.

The track for the Radiator Springs Racers looks like it will be a fun and fast ride through the painted dessert.

I believe this is a bridge that the racers will fly across along the canyon wall. Look at the great detail at every level of the rock face.

More of the construction, this is of Sally’s Cosy Cones
