As a fan of the Disneyland Resort, you probably are already aware that a great deal of work has been going on, all around this popular California destination. The bulk of this work was done in the Disney California Adventure Park, you’ve already heard lots about the new Cars Land, it is amazing, but what about the new entrance to that park, Buena Vista Street.

During the last several months, DCA Park goers found themselves routed though the gates, along sterile fences, slipping in the side door before being allowed to make use of that portion of the park that was being left alone. I for one didn’t like those fences, but they allowed the work crews the ability to keep working, even when the guest were in the Parks.

The work is finally done and the end result is so worth the wait. What was done behind those fences, is nothing short of the story of the Phoenix that rises up from the ashes. There is nothing that you saw before, that is still there in its original form. The transformation has been incredible, right down to the smallest details, inside and out.

Each of the building created for Buena Vista Street are unique little architectural treasures, place side by side as a treat for the eyes. No two shops are alike and yet they go together beautifully. With great touches of detail at every turn.

At every turn you are present another look back to the turn of the century craftsmanship you would expect to find, dans 1920 California architecture. It really is a sight to behold.

Some shops display the grandeur and elegance of high society,

The interior of the shops offer a excellent example of craftsmanship in every detail as well.

And some area just provide a quiet spot to set and soak it all in.

Buena Vista Street is a great addition to the Disneyland Resort offerings. Its shops and resturants, will provide Park guest with a very immersive envirenment to enjoy.

Street details are everywhere, including real live people to interact with.

And the anchor on the street will be the New Carthay Circle Theater. Une recreation of the very Carthay Circle Theater where Walt Premiered Snow White And The Seven Drawfs. A massive building that provides a fine dining experience for Park guest, and Club 33 members.

So in closing Buena Vista Street is a welcome addition to the Disney California Adventure side of the Resort, one that evey visitor should set aside some time to just stroll back in time.

Meet Adam On my last trip to the Disneyland Resort, I was standing and waiting for my special showing of World Of Color to begin. As I glanced around to people watch, and take in all the sights and sounds. I looked to the level that was just in front of me standing there was this young man that somehow looked familiar. I studied him for just a moment when the lights went on, no not for the show, but instead in my head. I knew this young man from his picture, we have been Twitter friends for some time, sharing all things Disney.

So I spoke right up and said “Adam” he quickly turned, with a bit of a surprised look trying to figure out who I was. I introduced myself to him and we had a brief conversation before the show started. He seems like a great guy and definitely a fan of Disneyland, plus a previous Disney Cast member.
