Well at least the California letters that span the entrance to Disney California Adventure Park. Work will begin today at DCA on the long awaited conversion to Buena Vista Street, a recreation of the 1920 Los Angeles that Walt Disney saw when he first arrived in California. The project is a major undertaking that will be completed in 2011. The changes will undoubtedly disrupt the feelings of Park guest, as they make their way from Disneyland over to DCA. I for one always enjoyed the stroll towards the Park entrance, watching people pose along the letters and murals, while almost dancing to the music playing. So prepare for lots of workers, plus more of those horrible construction walls, that not only blocks your view, but with their size may even block out the sky. So here is another look at the soon to vanish entrance to Disney California Adventure Park.
Jim Hill Media posted a great history of the DCA entrance check it out.
