Around the Disneyland Resort and the California Adventure Park, you’ll find a vast number of Hotel to meet your vacation needs. The most desired Hotels on this list are those in the Disneyland Resort. These Hotels provide a close convenient place to stay, and at the same time expand on the magic of being at Disneyland. The original Hotel is the Disneyland Hotel, built at the time of Disneylands opening by Jack Wrather and wife Bonita Granville Wrather. This Hotel has experienced several renovations over the years to become the Hotel it is today, and offers the guest a wonderful variety of restaurants and shops, and peaceful serene surroundings, all in close proximity to the Downtown Disney District and the Parks.

Rooms are well appointed with a Disney theme and very spacious and comfortable.

The Disneyland Hotel Gardens are incredible, manicured and lush in every detail. The Gardens include several waterfalls tropical plants surrounding ponds filled with Koi, and walkways that meandering throughout the grounds. If you get a chance you should stroll through the Disneyland Hotel and Gardens, even if you’re not a guest of the Hotel.

Paradise Pier Hotel is the next on the list. The paradise Pier Hotel originally opened in 1984 as the Emerald Hotel. In 1995 Disney acquired the property and over the course of a few years the Hotel was remodeled and renamed. The Hotel has over 500 rooms and sports a beach front theme overlooking the Disney California Adventure Park. The Hotel houses the PCH Grill and Surf side Lounge along with a gift shop. It’s a few extra steps to get to the Downtown Disney District, but is still very close to it all. One great feature available to Hotel guest is the right to access Disney’s California Adventure Park by going through the Grand California Hotel park entrance. This entrance enters the California Adventure Park very near the Grizzly Bear River Run, which makes for a very quick entrance to the Park, with no lines and only a few people. If you chose to make your way into the parks by taking a stroll through the Downtown Disney District, you wont be sorry because the Downtown District is a great way to start your day. It offers a large variety of shops and restaurants, and is a fun way to build excitement for the parks for the first time visitors. You’ll feel the magic start as soon as you hear the music played throughout the District, and you’ll be dancing in the streets, on your way to the Parks.

The final addition to the Disney Hotels is the Grand Californian Hotel. It is the crown jewel of all the Disney Hotels. Built in the Arts and Crafts Style of the 1920, it offers over 700 rooms, Plus several dining options.

This Hotel makes a grand statement as you enter the lobby, with its high cielings and massive beam contruction. It is an awsome thing to see and expierence. It has the highest room rates of any of the Disney Hotels, which make it difficult for families to enjoy its luxuery, and yet it is one Disney Hotel that everyone needs to be try at least once in their Disneyland vacation.
