Ever wonder about King Arthur’s Carrousel in Fantasyland’s  Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at the  Disneyland Resort? Where did it come from, or how old is it, heres your answer. The Carrousel was purchased from the Sunny Side Park in Toronto Canada, and moved to Disneyland by Walt. Along with that he purchased some Carrousel Horses from Coney Island. These horses date back to the late 1800s, and are hand carved wood, hand painted, and maintained in the original condition. So next time your near the Carrousel, check out the careful work that the Disney crew performs to maintain this beautiful antique works of art.
