Opening March 27, 2009 at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim California will be the new “Celebrate”. A brand new street party in the style of the “Block Party Bash” that once played in the streets of the California Adventure Park.
This will be an energy packed performance that will get your feet moving, your spirits high, and you’ll get to be part of the show as you join with the cast members dancing in the street. Planed are Conga lines, Swing dancers and dancing Disney Characters. As for me the Block Party Bash was a great deal of fun, and I look forward to Disney’s new entry in street party entertainment “Celebrate”.
I’ll be there.

When we visited the parks During Christmas 2008, we were anxious to visit the Wine Cellar that was converted to Blue Sky Cellar to display all of the plans from Disney Imagineers to improve the area around and in the water at California Adventure Park.
Much of the changes that we will see, will be around the lagoon at Paradise Pier. What is planned is an incredible new World of Color water show that will include music and fireworks. There will be changes to the north side of the lagoon as well, that provide seating for thousands of night time viewers.
I for one can’t wait for the changes to be complete so I can take my family to see another one of Disney’s night time extravaganza. We have enjoyed Fantasmic on nearly every trip to Disneyland, and it has been a favorite attraction of ours. I expect that Disney’s California Adventure parks new World of Color night time show will become a new tradition for us.
Then add to all the changes a new land, Cars land.
This land will include a race track styled coaster ride that will rival the Test Track at Walt Disney Worlds. It will be a high speed race track that will wind its way around the Town of Radiator Springs, made famous in the Disney and Pixar movie Cars. I can’t wait to be able to ride another great roller coaster at Disneyland and California Adventure.
And then a whole new experience will be the make over of the entrance to California Adventure Park. It will be converted to resemble the 1920 Los Angeles that Walt encountered when he first arrived in California.
The centerpiece will be the Carthay Circle Theatre, Walt Disney premiered the movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at this very theatre . Red Trolly Cars, new shops and restaurants will line the new Buena Vista Street.
With all these changes Disneys California Adventure Park will feel like a whole new park for Disney fans to experience. It will take a few years to complete all of the planned changes, so every time you visit, you should have that same feeling of anticipation you had when just a kid traveling to Disneyland for the first time.
And heres just another look at what’s going on at Disney’s California Adventure Park.
See Ya in the Parks!
