Here at Christmas time, Disneyland has a special offer, it’s almost a Christmas Present for everyone that has a Disneyland Obsession. You can enjoy Disneyland and celebrate Christmas all year long. Heres how you can make it happen too!.
I have a friend and co-worker today proudly state that she and her husband were taking a trip to Disneyland in January 2010. They have 3 kids, and were thinking about turning their Park Hopper Passes into Annual Passes. She said that maybe Annual Passes just for the adults because they wanted to do their anniversary at Disneyland this year. Somehow that just didn’t seem right to go to Disneyland and not take the kids, but even adults need to have time to themselves every once in a while. But gee whiz it’s Disneyland, and if you have Annual Passes, you’ll want to go more than just once, and what will you do with the kids?
I told her the good news right now is, Disney is offering a special package that allows you to buy a 5 day Park Hopper Pass and a 3 night stay at any of the area Hotels, including the Good Neighbor Hotels, and they’ll give you 2 more nights free. Then you take that Park Hopper Pass and convert it to a Deluxe Annual Pass inside the park. The Deluxe Annual Pass Port will allow you to enter the Parks 315 days of the year.
The cost will be around $90.00 each, and you’ll be able to enjoy the Parks all year long, over and over again. Any time that Disney offer something like this, it provides many people the opportunity to make the most of their Disneyland investment. Where else can you have 315 days of magic for $90.00? So get out there and book that stay, and get ready to play. This offer is good through April 29, 2010, and must be booked by April 1, 2010
See Ya in the Parks
One of the old Disney family has died in Newport Beach California at the age of 79, after a long fight with stomach cancer.
Roy had been a major influence in the Walt Disney Company, inspiring the company to maintain its commitment to animation, believing it to be an important legacy of Walt Disney Company. Roy Disney worked many years in the business as an editor, screenwriter and producer. Two short films he worked on were nominated for Academy Awards: the 1959 “Mysteries of the Deep,” which he wrote, was nominated as best live action short, and the 2003 film “Destino,” which he co-produced, was nominated as best animated short. As an investor who grew his Disney stock into a billion-dollar fortune, he had a huge impact on the company’s destiny.
Born: in Los Angeles on Jan. 10, 1930
Died: Dec. 16, 2009
His contributions to the Walt Disney Company will surly be missed.

See Ya In The Park
During the Year of a Million Dreams at Disneyland, each day one lucky person was selected to be the Honorary Grand Marshal. They were given special recognition and got to lead the parade down Main Street USA. Along with this special treatment they also got the keys to the Dream Suite, the very Dream Suite envisioned by Walt himself. The winner was allowed to invite family or friends to join him or her, for an overnight stay in all of this Royal Disney treatment. It had to be an unforgetable expierence for each winner, and to think that every day another person was selected to enjoy these very special treats. I made several trips to Disneyland that year hoping to be selected as the Grand Marshal. I know that my family and I would not have slept much, just trying to soak it all in.
But it was fun watching the winners parade down Main Street USA, knowing what was in store for them. Here’s photos of a couple of them. Lindsay Duncan of Bakersfield California, and Daniel Rosen from Oak Park California.
I would love to hear from Lindsay or Daniel and hear their story. If you know them ask them to write a comment on the page. Then I’ll be able to share their stories with our readers.
